Seth Howard has been mesmerizing and mystifying people for over 20 years in the Pacific Northwest. Be prepared to be amazed as Seth reads minds and communicates with the beyond during this spirit-filled evening - just in time for Halloween!

Additionally, this event is a fundraiser for our LED stage lighting upgrade. Every dollar spent during this event will help us bridge the $9,000 gap we have to meet our funding goal. Thank you to Seth for donating his time and talents toward the cause!

In 1936, It Can’t Happen Here, a stage adaptation by Sinclair Lewis of his own bestselling novel, opened simultaneously in 21 theaters in 17 states across America on October 27th, one week before that year’s presidential election - a warning against the rise of fascism in America.  It Can’t Happen Here – Again, by Writers for Democratic Action, both honors the 1936 production and issues a call to action now, in 2024.

Synopsis: On Christmas Eve, Celia’s only child, Kit confesses that she would rather live with her dad and his much younger partner beginning tonight, the couple’s wedding night. Left alone feeling powerless and enraged, Celia turns to alcohol and pills to escape her pain. Then her eccentric sister Louise shows up to help her out of her despair. In a drug-induced state, (is she dead? or just tripping?) Celia wakes up in an alternate dimension where the sisters review her past, present, and potential future. With a nod to the classics, It’s a Wonderful Life and A Christmas Carol, this all-female seriocomic play explores themes of letting go and moving on.
